Quelon Breedsheet

Temporary breedsheet because I'm far from happy with it but I wanted to get something together and up so here it is.

The Quelon is still a work in process but I felt I had enough general information to put together this reference.

I've added horns and tail to the lineart used in this breedsheet.

Individuals used on sheet.

Quelon mare (full body and head): Ekina owned by me
White (head): Unfinished lineart used to show sample of boney ridge any Quelon can possess.
Quelon stallion (head): Foundation animal owned by *Sassykatt1
Quelon stallion (full body): Riat owned by me.
Quelon stallion (full body breeding display): Unnamed and no particular owner yet will update when it's decided what I'm doing with him.

Until another breedsheet is complete that I'm happy with I will update here with any other information.

The owners of Hidden Realm came across a group of Quelon along a small stretch of beach while out riding. They were quite shocked to find the equine-like animals as they had not been found on the large island during the initial investigation/search of the island.

Riding down onto the beach via a narrow pathway with the intent to spend the day in relaxation they were met by Kayn. This intelligent, telepathic creature confronted them and demanded to know who they were and what they wanted.

Quelon are from somewhere on the mainland, Kayn refuses to give the owners of Hidden Realm all the information they wish to know. He has however told them they escaped the mainland when things out of their hands (hooves?!) happened and ended up swimming for their freedom. The current brought them to Hidden Realm.

Perhaps in time Kayn will share more information with the owners of Hidden Realm but for now they must be satisfied with what little they know. Since they attempt to stay completely seperate from the rest of the world the island is on they will have to accept what the elder Quelon chooses to share with them.

As we're still learning about these animals by trial and error unless Kayn decides to make things easier there may be things that show along the way. At this time it appears there is a heirarchy and Kayn and his mate, Chanda, are at the top. Kayn insists all Quelon are telepathic but the only other one besides him that has communicated with anyone is Riat.

Any Quelon owner that finds their Quelon is telepathic is to notify me so I can make note of it.

Quelon are very intelligent. At times it can be unnerving at what they seem to pick up on and understand.
